Exceptional location and huge, cool, vibey, iconic Vrbo in Cabo! Positive: LOVED the location, the amount of rooms/beds available, the artwork around the villa (not quite suitable for kids lol), and the open bar in the kitchen with memories from previous bachelorette trips and lots of alcohol! Learned who Jimmy Page is (lol) and the letters/memorabilia around the house were very cool. Can't forget about the guitar-shaped pool! Negative: Host responded to most of our questions but not all (we had a lot of questions; could have been our own confusion but we had trouble turning on/off the hot tub following the guide book (though it did work eventually!), and wanted to know about local farmacias/mobile IV drip services but ended up figuring that out ourselves)

Villa Mariposa is a luxurious 4BD/3BA home located in one of the most sought-after areas in Cabo. Located in the foothills of Pedregal w/ blue water & marina views. The location makes this villa a close 5 min walk to downtown/marina. Pedregal is known for its upscale homes, panoramic views, private and secure environment. Villa Mariposa is a stunning property that takes full advantage of this setting. The home features a private pool, Jacuzzi, and open floor concept on the main living area.
The Main bedroom on the 2nd floor has a King size bed and an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 other bedrooms on the 2nd floor with double beds and a shared bathroom in the hallway. The main floor has another bedroom with a double bed. There is also another full bathroom on the main level. The first floor has an open concept living area with plenty of room for entertaining and plenty of sitting for 8 people.
Guests have full access to Pedregal's fitness center, tennis courts, pickleball courts, racquet ball court, basketball court, kids play area and Pedregal Beach at no extra charge.

Casa Mariposa or Villa Mariposa was within walking distance of town. Safe, clean, private. The views were spectacular. The house was more than comfortable. We stayed for a month, and you have to expect something to go wrong. It always does! What makes a great location is how they react. Sal was responsive, polite, professional, and a true pleasure to deal with. One comment: if you have mobility issues, you shouldn't stay in Pedregal. The Hills are steep. And though there are beaches available, they are not easily accessible. I would highly recommend this location and the Cabo Way as a provider.
The location of Casa Mariposa was amazing the views from the house and the old Mexico feel was really nice. We are a family of 7 and were very comfortable the entire time. Walking around Pedregal and going to Pedregal Beach was really beautiful. It was easy to walk to the marina and all the restaurants.
The home is in a private and quiet area within walking distance from restaurants, the marina and shops but the walk is steep (just fyi). It is within walking distance from the beach but it’s a good 30-minute walk. There is plenty of space and fully stocked kitchen to cook. There is a small pool and hot tub that we didn’t use because it’s not really suitable for swimming because it is small.
Our first day we had an issue with the WiFi. Our host, Salvador, immediately responded to our concerns and promptly fixed them. There was a huge issue with mosquitoes, but that has nothing to do with the residence. Salvador warned us about them when we arrived. I would highly recommend doubling up on bug spray if you vacation in the area and you’ll be just fine with avoiding getting bites. Everything was walkable. We walked to the beach and to the shops in town. It was a great vacation.
